wishing my fellow Canadian friends a very happy thanksgiving 🍂💕
I’m so grateful I got to enjoy this weekend getaway up north with my family – filled with long walks getting lost in nature 🍁, lots of delicious foods and desserts 🍰, reading 📖, and laughs playing board games!
If you would have told me 4 years ago on thanksgiving when I was slowly dying from anorexia how I would one day be able to enjoy all the foods without any hesitation or second thoughts, be completely at peace with my body and truly realize how beautiful I am, and make wonderful memories with the people that I love, I certainly wouldn’t have believed you for a second.
If you feel stuck, sad or alone, I encourage you to reach out to someone and ask for help. Remember – when you feel like you’re at the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on. The only constant in life is change, so fight through the harder times and be grateful for all the good ❤️
