ever since I first made my own pickled onions a few weeks ago, I’ve now always gotta have a batch on hand! they add such a nice flavor to my salad bowls and toasts, and paired with the feta cheese here… absolute heaven!

•thinly slice one medium red onion and place in a mason jar
•in a separate bowl, combine:
1 cup warm water
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tsp maple syrup
1 and 1/2 tsp sea salt
•mix it up, then pour liquid into the mason jar!
•store in the fridge, and the onions will become “pickled” in about a day!
two slices of toasted @silverhillsbakery sprouted bread topped with:
•spinach + a fried egg cooked in some @chosenfoods avocado oil and sprinkled with red pepper flakes and sea salt
•mashed avocado + EBTB seasoning + feta + pickled onions
