my recipe for a great start to the week:
•some movement 🤸🏻♀️ (whether that be a walk or an at-home workout video)
•shower, makeup and getting dressed 💕 (yes, even though I’m working from home!)
•journal ✨ (what I’m grateful for and some affirmations)
•reading my current novel 📖
•coffee and a nourishing breakfast ☕️
•start my work! 👩🏻💻
Q: what is something you do each morning to set yourself up for a successful day?
•cook up 1/3 cup of @bobsredmill rolled oats in the microwave in about 3/4 cup liquid (water or milk)
•note: if I’m not adding protein powder, 2/3 cup liquid will do, but the protein really thickens them up so more water/milk is required!
•once the oats are cooked, I stirred in 2 scoops of @nuzest_usa smooth vanilla protein powder (“leanneliveshealthy” to save $ at checkout!), a tsp of chia seeds, and a sprinkle of cinnamon
•if it’s too thick, add almond milk while stirring!
•topped with banana slices, raspberries, pepitas, @manitobaharvest hemp hearts, and a glob of cashew butter
