my recipe for a great start to the week:
•some movement 🤸🏻‍♀️ (whether that be a walk or an at-home workout video)
•shower, makeup and getting dressed 💕 (yes, even though I’m working from home!)
•journal ✨ (what I’m grateful for and some affirmations)
•reading my current novel 📖
•coffee and a nourishing breakfast ☕️
•start my work! 👩🏻‍💻

Q: what is something you do each morning to set yourself up for a successful day?

•cook up 1/3 cup of @bobsredmill rolled oats in the microwave in about 3/4 cup liquid (water or milk)
•note: if I’m not adding protein powder, 2/3 cup liquid will do, but the protein really thickens them up so more water/milk is required!
•once the oats are cooked, I stirred in 2 scoops of @nuzest_usa smooth vanilla protein powder (“leanneliveshealthy” to save $ at checkout!), a tsp of chia seeds, and a sprinkle of cinnamon
•if it’s too thick, add almond milk while stirring!
•topped with banana slices, raspberries, pepitas, @manitobaharvest hemp hearts, and a glob of cashew butter

  2. My workday routine ……alarm goes off 5.15am and I leave house by 7am home @ 6.15pm.
    Candles go on & start 5-10min meditation
    10min yoga
    7-8min workout from YouTube
    10min to do any meal prep for tea
    By this time it’s usually 6am and I have coffee and breakfast & watch tele
    go in shower 6.30am & get ready (pack bag with food and drinks for the day ahead -usually sort baite night before)

  3. I always try and get in a morning wall before starting work! I find the movement helps to wake me up when I don’t have the usual routine of commuting into work
